Who We Are

NFM First Baptist exists to glorify the name of Jesus Christ in Southwest Florida and to the ends of the earth.  We are here to assist people in learning to love God and others.  Our focus is to help you grow in relationship with Jesus.  We look forward to you getting connected with us.  We believe our best days are ahead and we look forward to you discovering God’s plan for your life!

Bible Study Groups

These are held at 9:45 Sunday mornings and other times throughout the week.

Being Baptized

This is offered to those who have personally confessed faith in Christ.  We practice baptism by immersion which is an illustration of our union with Christ.

Membership

We believe every Christian should belong to and support a local church. We offer a “Connection 101” class where we talk about Salvation, Doctrine, the Mission of our Church, and Individual Spiritual Gifting.

Baby Dedication

Our church has a heart for the next generation.  Baby dedications are designed to commit the resources of our church to bringing up Godly families.  It is a great honor for us to partner with you in the dedication of your child(ren) to the Lord.

Serving

Opportunities to serve include Children’s & Student Ministries, Music, Teaching, Hospitality, Deaf Ministries, Men & Women’s Ministries and Missions, both local & abroad.

Val Morgan

Val Morgan is the church administrator. She is married to Dr. Les Morgan, our Senior Pastor.

Senior Pastor

Email

Dr. Les Morgan serves as the Senior Pastor and is an ordained minister with the Southern Baptist Convention. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Knox Theological Seminary. As an ordained minister, he has served as a pastor at various churches for over 35 years. He also serves as the Director of Royal Palm Christian Counseling located in Fort Myers, FL.​

Dr. Morgan has spoken at over 80 conferences in America as a seminar instructor and has been invited to multiple international settings for preaching engagements. He has authored five books and numerous magazine articles.
